Haags Hiphop Centrum and MBS School of Art present: A Masterclass with B-Girl Yasmin from Japan.
Yasmin is a B-Girl from Japan, known for a unique breakin’ style that fuses elements from various dance genres while keeping breakin’ at the core. Active since childhood, she has won titles at top international battles including Freestyle Session, Battle of the Year B-Girl, OLD SCHOOL NIGHT and Red Bull BC One.
She views breakin’ as the freest form of dance, pursuing an expression that unites physicality, musicality, and spirit.Currently Yasmin represents DYM MESSENGERS in the professional dance league @dleague_official , standing as a key member of one of the most powerful street dance teams in Japan.
No matter where you've seen her dance, we're sure she had you mesmerized by her groove, funk, and style. She makes a lasting impression wherever she blesses the dancefloor.
Yasmin will be in the Netherlands for an exclusive workshop at Haags Hiphop Centrum on September 21st. Want to learn more about her and her approach to dance? Make sure you come and join the class.
After the masterclass, Haags Hiphop Centrum will be open for a free practice session, but we're not stopping there! DJ's Menno van Gorp and SD will be bringing some gems with them for an all-vinyl DJ set. So come and catch a groove!
